The next printing of Pirates on the Prairie is already underway!
Orders are coming in steadily for the book from Halstadites and others from the Red River Valley, friends and family members of the players, libraries, book stores, and others who've found the book on the web.

darrel hesby coached @ maple lake,mn. from 1957-1960...his 1959 BB irish team won the district 19 tournament @ st. johns, and advanced to the region 5 tournament @ williams arena where they lost to eventual state champ wayzata....in 1960 the irish team returned to st. johns and defeated the tournament favorite Sauk Rapids 36-35...the next game against royalton was lost by 10 points because the irish center bruce gagnon elected to take his exams for west point in chicago insted of playing for the irish...maple lake lost by 10 points to eventual state tournament team royalton....rg
